The Gift Guide: The Charlotte York Woman Edit

'Tis the season, welcome to part one of the gift guide. With a SATC spin on things.

As sad as I am that fall is coming to an end, this means one great thing - gift guides. They have already made their way around socials and I couldn’t help but join in on the trend. However, this is a gift guide with a twist. I will be creating a gift guide based around five key characters from Sex and The City, starting with the preppy chic Charlotte York.

A day in the life of Charlotte York. She wakes up early for a morning run, head resting on her personalised pillow. Takes off her Slip eye mask and slips it into her Millennial Decorator bag, where she keeps it on her bedside table, along with her CBK book.

After her run she gets back has a warm shower then gets ready for breakfast with the girls followed by shopping for a husband at Bergdorf’s. She keeps her makeup simple, her favourite Chanel Lipstick topped with a dab of Rhode for a darker tint. She brushes her hair into a chic ponytail using her personalised brush. The outfit is a minimal grey cardigan, paired with her go to Celine sunglasses and The Row slingbacks. Not forgetting her Cartier watch. She pauses before leaving, wondering whether to bring her Vintage Chanel bag or her 90’s The Row bag. She ends up going with the Chanel, after all it fits all the essentials a clip set, personalised lip balm and personalised passport holder - in case of a last minute trip.

Charlotte gets back around 4pm, she has a date that evening so starts to prepare. Whilst supper simmers in her Goop pot, she gets ready. Nails are filed with her limited edition Chanel file, eye mask is applied and candle lit. She relaxes with her current read, puts in her pearl earrings and is ready for a night of intelligent conversation and manifesting her dream life.
