A Very goop Winter in the City.
All of the timeless pieces I'm constantly wearing from goop, and how to style them.
I’m a huge fan of investing in beautiful and timeless pieces. I’d much rather buy one really great knit rather than 10 others that will deteriorate in a short amount of time.
So on that note, as someone that shops as stalks the goop website religiously, I’m so excited to be working with them on this post, to share some of the beautiful pieces they sent over, along with how I’m styling them!
I’m very much a creature of habit and year after year I go back to the same classic knitwear silhouettes. More recently I have been loving a v neck, there is just something about that splash of the layer underneath poking out that adds that extra layer of interest to an outfit.
Here is another way I would style this staple sweater,
Again, feeling stylish in Winter can be hard especially when it’s freezing and you just want to bundle up. The easiest and my favourite way of ‘chic-ifying’ an outfit is by utilising different textures. This darker double denim shirt and trouser set paired with the soft tawny sweater, suede bag and croc leather loafers is a prime example of how to do this.
The Minimalist Black Cashmere Sweater
If there is one knit everyone needs in their wardrobe, it is a thin cashmere sweater. Don’t get me wrong, I love a chunky knit but there is something so chic about a thin cashmere sweater. I paired the Minimalist cashmere sweater in black under my Toteme barn jacket with these white jeans, comb necklace, black boots and all topped off with a grey knit around my waist.
Here is another way I plan on styling mine for Winter in London:
I love a tonal look for Winter, this looks feels chic and refined yet still warm and practical. The white coat contrasted against the Minimalist Cashmere Sweater, brown pants and dark accessories is my ideal winter lineup.

Every time I see a knit like this it reminds me of Cameron Diaz in the holiday (above left), enter goop with their utterly chic yet still traditional offering, their styling (above right) is enough to make anyone want one. A classic heirloom knit that you’ll probably share with everyone from your husband, mother and children.
Here is how I’m styling mine below:
The last couple of years I have been suffering from the shorts under a long coat disease, I just love the way it looks - it has to be with a chunky oversize knit and a loafer/sock combo for me personally. Paired with a tonal carry - everything bag and simple accessories.
I call this ‘Cameron Diaz in The Holiday, if it was shot today’.
For those like myself who sadly cannot wear shorts in the current climate, white jeans are the next best thing. Sticking with the original recipe of the long black coat and the modern cable knit, but adding in black boots, taupe Margaux bag and leather gloves.
